Graphics: Tips on Techniques

Often in my ballpoint pen cityscapes I implement effect of leaning buildings and objects by pulling vertices toward the center. I adopted this technique from photography where it is widely used. Noticing this effect maybe difficult if you are viewing artwork from your computer monitor screen, but in the original size artwork it is far more apparent.

In a way, by inducing peaks of vertical objects toward the center creates a feeling of buildings hanging over you. This effect strengthens the feeling of perspective almost immersing the viewer`s eye into the depth of the drawing and therefore enhances the sense of height.
