Graphene Technology out of the lab

?#Graphene?technology is no longer “stuck in the lab.”

Not only have?Ford Motor Company,?Graphene - The University of Manchester,?U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC)?& Dr?James Tour’s spinout companies quietly destroyed that myth, a new company made it look easy to disrupt the?#FrontierMaterials?arena.

In fact, this Malaysian company’s state-of-the-art production facility has yet to be built.

Nevertheless, Rimon PC’s client?#Energem?Corp. (Nasdaq: ENCPU) created a wholly-owned subsidiary, retaining Graphjet’s CEO.

The Technology:

Newly-formed?Graphjet technologies?aims to use Graphjet’s patented process to transform waste material palm kernel shell into graphene & graphite. The graphene materials have a projected price range of $20-25/gram USD.?Investing News Network?quoted an average graphene price at $100/gram in Nov, 2021.

The Supply:

#Indonesia?&?#Malaysia?are the top global palm kernal shell suppliers, so?#GraphjetTechnologies?has geographic advantage for available?#feedstock.

The Demand:

The company even secured an exclusive distributorship agreement with Toyoda Trike, Inc, led by CEO Toyoda Misako, great-granddaughter of one of the?Toyota Motor Corporation?founders. Toyoda Trike, Inc develops & manufactures pure electric vehicles (“EV”) & electric bicycles.

The Future:

Graphjet plans to expand its distribution beyond Japan, into the US & European markets.

This technology may have a broader application.?University of Ibadan?researchers have sought to address environmental concerns regarding palm kernal shell waste in Nigeria where the oil palm tree is native. Perhaps there will be opportunities for another?#graphenesolution?using the patented Graphjet process.

The Stakeholders:

Legal teams usually are not part of the PR, but these two involved are noteworthy.

Rimon PC?is recognized by the?Financial Times?as one of North America’s most innovative law firms with 46 offices across 5 continents. Their Managing Partners were both named ‘Legal Rebels’ by the American Bar Association’s?ABA Journal?& have spoken on innovations in the practice of law at?Harvard University?and?Stanford University?Law schools.

The US law firm representing Graphjet,?Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough?(est. 1897) has 930+ attorneys & government relations professionals, offices in 15 US states & Washington, D.C.

The Value:

In October, Graphjet Technologies (GTI) will become a publicly listed company and trade on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange.

Transaction values Graphjet at pro forma enterprise value of $1.49 billion.

Alright! Who is next?
