Is this grape juice or wine?

It doesn’t matter; if this was dark granite I don't think you would see the stain, but it would still be there. When you have lighter color granite, stains will be visible. I believe you will see stains from spaghetti sauce, ketchup, red wine, grape juice, peanut butter, cooking oil, and butter, and I’m sure many other things will change the appearance of granite. Some may see this as “having character”, or "a patina”; others may see it as unsightly, as well as possible germ and mold growth.
I believe some food and cleaners with high acid content will have a negative effect on your granite countertop. Things like coffee, lemon juice (anything citrus – including cleaners), bleach, and ammonia will all eat through the granite sealer over time (if it was ever sealed in the first place).
Maybe this stain will come out, what do you think?
