An exciting challenge!

In this case, Secad made leverage on its long experience in the world of tailor-made self-adhesives to develop a satisfying solution for its customer.

In this case, the customer needed to apply powders of mixed and relatively coarse particle size to support. It all had to be self-adhesive.

The customer had been looking for a company on the market able to provide anything of the sort, but with no success.?

After the first few meetings, the customer entrusted us with the feasibility study.

The first obstacle was the dispersion of the powders. The aim was to distribute them evenly over the entire surface, with maximum coverage and quantity.

Dispersion systems exist on the market but do not offer the desired result.

The second issue was how to make this "dusty" surface an adhesive

one!

We, therefore, decided to build the prototype equipment with which to test some ideas that we had discussed internally.

After performing various tests and making the necessary changes to the equipment, we could ensure an ideal outcome that met the exact requirements.

Pilot production was then carried out, with the customer undertaking a series of functional tests for the application.

We can expect a good result for both him and for Secad!
