GRANTS (FREE MONEY) FOR INVESTORS)!!!

I GET LETTERS, YES I DO AND I WOULD LIKE TO GET MORE! I ANSWER THEM ALL. SOME WILL BE ANSWERED HERE AND SOME BE ANSWERED ON MY BLOG OR BY EMAIL. THE ONE THAT FOLLOWS IS ACTUALLY A STRING OF CORRESPONDENCE WHICH WILL BE PARAPHRASED IN THE INTEREST OF BREVITY. SHORTLY AFTER PUBLISHING THE ARTICLE ABOUT THE GENTLEMAN WHO WAS LAYED OFF FROM HIS JOB AT THE AGE OF 60 AND WAS HOMELESS AND THEN BECAME A MILLIONAIRE BY THE AGE OF 66, I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM A GENTLEMAN WHO WAS A SUCCESSFUL INVESTOR IN 2006 AND THEN LIKE MANY INVESTORS RAN INTO A HARD TIME IN 2007 AND 2008 AND TURNED HIS BACK ON INVESTING IN REAL ESTATE, (EVEN THE RICH DAD POOR DAD AUTHOR HAD PROBLEMS AND TURNED TO STOCKS, WHEREAS SOME REAL ESTATE INVESTORS MADE A LOT OF MONEY HOLDING THEIR GROUND AND EVEN BUYING MORE PROPERTY!!) HE SWORE NEVER TO GET INVOLVED AGAIN! BUT OF COURSE, HE DID! EVENTUALLY HE FOUND AN INVESTMENT PARTNER. SOMEHOW THE CONVERSATION CAME AROUND TO HOW COULD HE GET A GRANT TO BUY A HOUSE FOR NO MONEY DOWN) (HE ALREADY OWNS THE HOUSE HE LIVES IN)--I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT GRANTS TO BUY HOUSES TO LIVE IN ARE FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT OWN A HOUSE--FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYERS AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT OWNED A HOME FOR THREE YEARS OR MORE--NOT INVESTORS!!! IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO FITS THIS CATEGORY YOU SHOULD MAKE THEM AWARE OF THIS WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY--THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MAKES THIS MONEY AVAILABLE THROUGH THE STATES, CITIES AND COUNTIES. SOME STATES HAVE THEIR OWN PROGRAMS. ONE CITY NEAR ME HAS GRANTS UP TO $60,000 FOR FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYERS TO USE FOR DOWN PAYMENTS AND CLOSING COSTS. MY SON-IN-LAW AND DAUGHTER LIVE IN A 3/4 MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE IN THE SUBURBS OF LA IN CALIFORNIA WHICH THEY BOUGHT IN A DISTRESSED MARKET FOR FAR LESS. THEY DID IT BY FIRST GETTING A GRANT IN VIRGINIA WHEN HE WAS IN THE NAVY STATIONED HERE AND BOUGHT A STARTER HOUSE. SEVERAL YEARS LATER THEY SOLD IT AND MOVED AND DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY THE GRANT BACK AND USED THEIR EQUITY TO BUY THE NEW PROPERTY. EVEN THOUGH HE HAD A VA ELIGIBILITY AND THE SELLERS PAID HIS CLOSING COSTS, HE STILL GOT THE GRANT. IF YOU ARE SAVING MONEY TO HELP YOUR KIDS BUY A HOUSE TELL THEM ABOUT THIS GRANT OPPORTUNITY THAT MAY EXIST IN YOUR HOMETOWN AND FREE UP THAT CASH YOU HAVE BEEN SAVING TO HELP THEM, AND YOU CAN USE THAT MONEY (YOU HAVE BEEN SAVING TO HELP THEM) TO BUY AN INVESTMENT PROPERTY TO FUND YOUR OWN FUTURE, AND THEN PASS IT ON TO THEM AND YOUR GRANDCHILDREN AS GENERATIONAL WEALTH

THERE ARE GRANTS FOR INVESTORS BUT NOT TO BUY WHOLE HOUSES (AT LEAST NOT THESE GRANTS). THE GRANTS AVAILABLE TO INVESTORS ARE FOR VARIOUS PROPERTIES AT VARIOUS TIMES. OCCASIONALLY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCIES IN A CITY OR COUNTY WILL GIVE GRANTS FOR LANDSCAPING OR OTHER OUTDOOR IMPROVEMENTS. SMART INVESTORS VISIT THEIR HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AGENCIES AND MAKE FRIENDS WITH THE DIRECTORS AND FIND OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING AND EVEN VOLUNTEER TO SIT ON THEIR CITIZEN BOARDS. IF YOU LIVE IN AN AREA CLASSIFIED AS RURAL CHECK INTO THE USDA FOR GRANTS--THEY CAN COVER MULTI-FAMILY DEVELOPMENT INTO THE MILLLIONS. MY AUDIENCE VARIES AS DOES THE RANGE OF GRANTS AND AREAS.
