As someone who’s on a mission to share grants and marketing resources to the community, I must say this is THE time to become an entrepreneur. The current environment offers unique advantages for aspiring entrepreneurs, especially with the availability of funding opportunities like grants. Grant funding that you don’t have to pay back was a tool typically reserved for non-profits. With the onset of COVID-19 and the tragic killing of George Floyd, institutions have found real investment in supporting disadvantaged small businesses .

Now, while grants aren't "free money," they provide valuable financial support without incurring debt. This can be a game-changer for your small business, allowing you to focus on growth and development without the burden of immediate loan repayments.

However, it's crucial to remember that grants come with responsibilities. You are accountable for using the funds effectively and achieving specific goals defined by the grant provider. This accountability, while adding some pressure, aligns with the ultimate goal of success and empowers entrepreneurs to achieve their ambitions.

Remember, grants aren’t free money!
