Two months ago I wrote a post entitled "Buying my Future" where I bought a #10xUKTour Platinum ticket - A ticket that would give you an extra MasterMind day - and a chance to meet Grant Cardone.
I spent more money on that ticket, and in those 3 days in one fluid motion than I ever have in my life.
After sitting in the front row, being able to speak to both Grant and his wife, the countless connections I made, and the invaluable load of information we received - there's no doubt it was worth it.
While you'll have to buy a ticket of your own (10x Miami, heyy!) to receive all the insider information - Here are 5 Major lessons in Business that impacted me most from meeting my Mentor.
Money Follows Attention
No one likes to talk about money. No one likes to get too much attention. So now, doesn't it make sense that the people getting the most attention - Celebrities, CEO's, Drug Dealers (hah) are all getting the most money? It's because money follows attention. Love you or hate you - Kardashians are well know, Trump is well-known. Make yourself known, make yourself heard. Money will follow.
Think of the Topline
This is where so many companies and business's get stuck or never grow. Constantly trying to outsource, penny-pinch, or buy cheaper talent. WHY would you focus on the negative? Focus on making more money. Focus on the top line. How much money is coming in? If you have more money coming in, you don't need to worry about money going out. But if you focus on money going out, all you're going to do is make yourself smaller and that just leads to less.
Take Responsibility for EVERYTHING
When you gain weight, when you don't ace a test, when you get sick, when the power goes out in your neighborhood - Take responsibility! Even if it doesn't seem like your fault - If you take responsibility for it, you then have the power to solve it. If its Gerry's fault or Sues fault, you don't have any power! And the truth is, the more massive action you take, the more you'll be prepared for when things that didn't seem in your control are now fully under your radar.
When I bought my ticket, I took massive action and I took responsibility. I wasn't leaving it up to the Universe to meet my idol. I was making it happen.
Your Customers are ALWAYS Buying
Whether they buy from you, or buy from someone else, your customers are always buying. During one portion of the conference, Grant went off on a beautiful tangent - Be PROUD you have lots of products to sell for lots of people. People who sell things make economies work.
Being Genuine Pays
When I bought my ticket, I was slightly nervous that it would be one of those things where you meet someone you look up to, and they just aren't the same. I listened to Grant for four months straight - in depression, in happiness, in determination. "What if he's not the same?" of course I thought it.
But truly, he was the same. He was the same in the way he presented himself, and was honest about his intentions. Lying to people doesn't do any good, because at the end of the day, it's going to come to a standoff. People are overwhelmed with knowledge - so if you can't be honest, you have no business.
All in All..
I got to meet my idol. I got to meet his wife. I got to make an amazing network of friends, business relationships, and really even, a 10x family.
You take the responsibility. You make the decisions to live your life the way you want to and take massive action. In two more months, I'll be going to 10x Miami - This time I'll have a product to sell.
What are you doing to take massive steps towards your dreams?

Great write up Elise Micheals. I have already began implementing many of the lessons learnt and was only discussing point 1 with my business coach Alan Bark this evening.
