at grandpa's

i  have searched behind the bushes

And under the shadows of the banyan tree

I have peered under the old rusted car in the garage

And into the dark green waters of the well

I have climbed up the tallest branch of the small mango tree

And the dust covered attic in grandpa’s house

What happens to birds who cannot fly ?

What happens to birds when they die ?
