Grandpa Mac
After all these years and I still can't quite figure out what i want to be when I grow up.
There are several things I never want to be when I grow up and topping that list would have to be 'grown up'.
It seems really overrated and I refuse to wear sock suspenders and put carrots in my jello.
The 'going to bed early' part doesn't sound like a bad idea but waking up refreshed at 4:30 am is not ever going to happen.
Based on things my Grandpa did I'm not sure I will ever grow up; he dunked his old fashioned doughnuts in black coffee, worked his whole life in a limestone quarry and bathed in the basement every night with Lava soap. He ate 3 meals a day and only 3 meals a day and then retired to the front porch every evening for a chew.
Based on the above criteria I don't stand a chance;
I seldom bother wearing socks, I like my carrots swimming in ranch dressing; dipping a raspberry filled doughnut in a caramel macchiato is just messy, I don't get Netflix on the front porch so why bother sitting there, I've actually had chips & dip for dinner, I don't eat 3 meals a day-I eat all day and Lava soap with extra pumice will never scrub away the abuse and stress of being a 'Used House Salesman'.
Most days I feel like a boy pretending to be a man, wishing I could ride to the quarry with my Grandpa Mac, one more time.
