Previously Mecca is known for Masjidil Haram, now The Clock Tower. It symbolizes the grandeur and the modernity of the city. Anywhere you go around Mecca, you'd probably see it from afar, telling you Masjidil Haram is nearby.

But Kaaba, as I see it, humbly boxed, modest and serene the heart I must say. It strikes the heart and people immediately make dua upon seeing it.?

Sometimes it is not the grandeur, glitz and glamor that we are chasing. Most of the time is a peace of mind. Having modest and simple life just enough to give serenity at heart. It is not the grandeur tugs the heartstrings.
