Grain - Securing the crop

During our travels across our vast nation we encounter many different ideas and ways that growers are handling the grain as it comes from the paddock, sheds, silos, on ground bunkers all play an important role in creating a smooth harvest process.

Alvan Blanch Australia provide advice and conceptual information on how a harvest process can be improved - in main moisture management.

  • Moist in the field - harvest team are stalled, costing you money
  • Waiting on the weather - harvest team are playing cards, costing you money
  • Coastal growers - daily moisture harvest delays, costing you money

Alvan Blanch DF drying systems allow for the following key elements to happen.

  1. Ability to start harvest maybe a week / ten days earlier - handling 'greener' crop by drying creates a head start during the busiest season of the year - getting grain to the receival in spec early!
  2. Clear start time each harvest day - allowing for crew to be rested and have a clear picture of the day ahead - machines cleaned down, greased and operating up to three hours ahead of moisture laden neighbours - getting grain to the receival in spec early!
  3. Security - growing and tending your crops is therapeutic (most of the time), being able to create a clear path at harvest and manage the process is possible by adding a DF drying system into your process.
  4. Less stress - recent discussions with a family operation on the South Coast West Australia revealed that the two harvests which they have managed with the Alvan Blanch DF dryers (yes they have 2) has created situation where everyone is worked easier, machines are not under pressure, and dad watches the loaded trucks heading to the receival with a wry smile - especially if the neighbours are not able to harvest due to no DF dryer in the yard!

Don't you deserve to consider securing a crop in a different fashion, our current lead time is able to allow us to plan and execute an install for your harvest in 12 months time, reach out now, get the coffee pot on and we are on our way.

Grain Drying is our core business, receiving grain from the field, moving it around, and loading to trucks is also what we do.

Go on make the connection today.
