Grain - handling, drying & storing

Our client is a renowned farming family from the Central West of NSW, this initial enquiry was for a 'small dryer & a couple of small silos' - however the family soon recognised an opportunity to create a future proof grain handling facility which has good access to highway and a rail head close at hand as well - so it grew.

Alvan Blanch Australia worked closely with our suppliers to create a simple solution, something that would be easy to work on, with equipment that leads the way in terms of grain movements, drying and storing.

The client has project managed this build within the family, utilizing local electrical contractors and engineering businesses to assist with the access design and install. Soon the final two sections will be built - the AB PRA 4 rotary cleaner, and the truck outload silo.

Alvan Blanch DF drying units have the ability to dry any crop that a grower can get through a header, high moisture materials are easily handled, the unit has a myriad of adjustments that allow operators to create the most efficient drying scenario for a crop - bed depth, trace chain, temperature, air flow and now we can add an option of moisture control to this already versatile machine.

A simple yet robust machine the DF is already well proven on Australian farms.

Our handling equipment can receive grain from trucks - reclaim grain from silos, move grain to dryers and cleaners, back to store and then out to trucks - up to 600tph, well proven designs from well-established partners.
