Leadership Brainery's Talent Recruitment Specialist, Yolanda Marti shares her story about the importance of #connections :

"At the end of my undergraduate career, I was offered the incredible opportunity to serve as a Teach For America Corps Member. The opportunity not only provided me with the means to impact the world of #educational #equity on the ground-level, but it also presented me with an avenue to attain my Master’s of Education at a decreased cost and with one-on-one support and coaching. Looking back, this was an opportunity even greater than what I could have imagined, as it allowed me to #network with like-minded individuals in the field of education, gain a professional network of peers across the country, and begin building #community as a young adult in a new state – all of which are benefits that I utilize each day even post-service!"

Get Connected! ??

The?LB Ambassador Fellowship ?equips high-achieving college student leaders of color with the skills and resources to prepare for #gradschool . The 18-month Fellowship guides Ambassadors through personal and professional development curricula as well as supports them to complete all graduate school admission requirements.

This year's #cohort will be made up of twenty intercollegiate students in the #GreaterBostonArea who are passionate about building a leadership network — one that can be leveraged for life!

We've often heard the phrase, "It's who you know, not what you know." At Leadership Brainery, we believe that an inclusive network is key to a person's success in any industry.
