Gradually, Gradually, then Suddenly Becomes Digital Squared

We Started Gradually

In 2019 I started a podcast focused on technology and named it Gradually, Gradually, then Suddenly, based on the idea that new technology would often enter the ethos so subtly, so gradually, small in scale with early adopters until it reaches a tipping point and becomes dominant, in which “gradually” becomes “suddenly.” Afterwhich, we talk about it in a context where we can’t understand how we ever navigated life without it.?

A Podcast Reimagined

Post-pandemic, we’re much more technology enabled in our everyday lives. We work remotely, visit doctors remotely, and more quickly and broadly adopt novel tech at speeds we wouldn’t have before. “Suddenly” is more like “NOW,” and I wanted the podcast to reflect that.

Welcome to Digital Squared. We’re going to explore how our lives are impacted by a rapidly increasing digital world, and how organizations have used the pandemic as a springboard to transform the way they work, the way they serve customers, the way they make connections, and the way they innovate.??

The Future - Exponentially

I invite you to join in this discussion with my guests and I, as we look through a lens of the world reimagined and the role of the leader, forever changed – be they the technology leader or just the leader who is taking advantage of technology.? Let’s talk about how you’ve survived, dare I say, persevered, and what the challenges and rewards of the journey have been thus far.?

Let’s push each other to collectively drive this new reality forward. Gradually, Gradually, then Suddenly is in the rear view mirror; leaning forward feels like “double-down or get out of the game.” So, buckle up and let’s find out if fortune really does favor the bold.
