GradSWE Experience

Graduate school can be extremely difficult, confusing, and lonely. However, GradSWE helped me realize that it doesn’t have to be and has been a critical part of my graduate experience. Through my collegiate GradSWE section, I found an inclusive and supportive community that empowered me to become a leader at my institution and SWE nationally. GradSWE is unique in that members come from all different backgrounds, yet we are all able to relate to each other through our experiences as women-identifying graduate students. In a field where women are still commonly far and few between, GradSWE was the community that reminded me that I belong in moments of doubt.
