Gracechurch’s Weekly People: Raising the bar in the regions

It’s hard to believe we’re just three weeks into January. With so much packed into such a short time, it feels like we should be in April or May already (and not just because I’m missing the sunshine). So, what have we been up to so far?

In our first week back, we focused on all things brand, culminating in the release of our Marketing Effectiveness Monitor yesterday. Last week, we turned the spotlight on our London Claims Social, and highlighted the critical role of talent and the need for both IQ and EQ in claims service.

This week, we shift our attention to the UK Regional Market, building on momentum from the recent launch of the 2025 BIBA Manifesto. Gracechurch is proud to be in the Manifesto once again, reflecting our ongoing commitment to raising the bar for insurer service.

But, it doesn’t stop there. Yesterday we held our third meeting of the?Champions Council, as part of the BIBA Voice of the Broker Programme. This initiative brings together a range of brokers from across the UK, who act as a ‘grassroots’ voice supporting and promoting the need for better service in the UK regional market. ?

Against this backdrop, we are excited to release our UK Insurers Monitor next Thursday. This Report looks at the UK regional market, offering objective analysis of underwriting brand and reputation from the perspective of UK brokers. At its core is a focus on service, which continues to be a growing priority in the market.
