Governments Wasting Billions on DEI

Governments Wasting Billions on DEI

When everyone went into high-gear about DEI during the pandemic, we thought things we're really shifting. But all that really happens in this egoistic system we're currently in, is that we take advantage of any new thing that comes along to pump more out of the system. That's what everyone does. Especially places funded by the taxpayers. They create more jobs and programs to justify their agenda and get higher budgets.

This is how their thinking works: "Diversity, equality and inclusion is really important right now - let's set up committees and hire all the experts we can to get up to speed as quickly as possible - god forbid anyone should think we're not taking DEI seriously. It will look really bad. So let's go all out on this one."

The problem is that everyone is guessing. No one really knows what a correct DEI program looks like. Or what will provide desired results. So all kinds of initiatives received funding.

Why do we do these things? Because the more dollar value and people we attribute to something - the more it looks like we're getting things done, regardless of the results. This is how we pump up our ego - by adding more people and funding. There's no real substance behind it - it's all fluff. And it's good to see some people finally admitting this after wasting so much energy and resources on things that are not going to actually change our perspective. I can take African drumming sessions for hours a day, but that won't help me to actually connect with Africans. To connect with Africans I need to actually sit in a circle with them and hear their perspective on general topics.

This 7 billion pounds blown on DEI in the UK would have come in handy for keeping the heating on for poor families this winter -

RICHARD LITTLEJOHN: With £7billion wasted on diversity and inclusion, it's time to stop banging the drum for workplace wokery Daily Mail

"In recent years, public bodies have frittered away £7 billion of our hard-earned on workplace wokery. It ranges from daft stunts like African drumming sessions to frankly sinister brainwashing seminars on 'unlearning whiteness'. One million working days in the Civil Service alone are wasted every year on politically motivated 'equality, diversity and inclusivity' training. Staff at the publicly funded Intellectual Property Office spent 24 days playing a specially designed 'Respect At Work' board game — which sounds a bit like Monopoly for Guardian readers. 'Declare your pronouns or go directly to Jail.' Public sector organisations, from Government departments and Town Halls to the police and fire brigade, employ more than 10,000 full-time diversity enforcers, on an average salary of £42,000 a year. Celebrating diversity at the taxpayers' expense is the country's fastest-growing job creation scheme."

This $500 million blown on DEI initiatives in California could have gone a long way in organizing more water for the region -

California spent $500M on DEI initiatives, including $50K on 'racial equity' fish dept trainings: Nonprofit Fox News

"Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is becoming California's newest billion-dollar industry — on the taxpayer's dime," CORE lead researcher Will Coggin told Fox News Digital on Monday. "It's everywhere from kindergarten classrooms to the Department of Fish and Wildlife." "Instead of effectively addressing issues like housing, crime or homelessness, California officials have chosen to line the pockets of well-connected diversity consultants," he continued.

"Instead of effectively addressing issues like housing, crime or homelessness, California officials have chosen to line the pockets of well-connected diversity consultants."

So even after all this money was spent, we can't say that DEI has improved. We could try saying it did improve, but would have no way to actually test or measure it. Meanwhile, division in the US is increasing, which is the worst possible thing for the economy and smooth running of American affairs.

I'm just focused on the wasted government resources and budgets. But there is also the whole political side to this, with the woke folks taking advantage of the situation to be bigger bullies.
