Apparently nothing new, but I encourage you to read the reasons that have led me just now to publish this "bold" thesis.

I am constantly amazed by our custom (how Polish!) of "shaking a saber" ...

In this way I am referring to the statements of Minister ?ukasz Szumowski regarding how well the government of the so-called "IV RP" (in spe) [the Fourth Republic of Poland] and the Polish Health Service (in this case I use capital letters due to respect for their work) copes with the current crisis. I quote the words of the Minister: "... and at this stage of the epidemic ... ... well, we're really not somewhere in the tail, but even at the head of the peloton as to the number of tests performed, in relation to the number of people who are infected. If we compare these data with other countries in the world, Poland is not bad, and I would even say quite well ... " [ prof. ?ukasz Szumowski, minister zdrowia | GO?? The Minister allowed himself to repeat exactly the same wording ("... at the head of the peloton ..."), passing yesterday (April 06 2020) in the Parliament information on the fight against coronavirus (? https://wiadomosci.tvp.pl/47449055/w-sejmie-o-epidemii).

Although I do not respect the current Polish government, I do have respect and even appreciate the work of the Minister of Health. Using card language, he has received very weak cards in the current government hand, and yet he is doing what he can - I do not think anyone can deny that.

I also do not want to dwell on the very awkward, in my opinion, comparison of the cornonavirus pandemic to a cycling race. 

But I would like to know the TRUTH.

And just in order to know the truth (having a very distrustful attitude towards any data that seems to be populist), I decided, for my own use, to verify the words of the Minister, based on the so-called 'raw data'. The result of this little 'reaserch' unfortunately did not surprise me and only confirmed the popular opinion that 'TVP LIES' - in this case, unfortunately, it is necessary to put an equal sign between television and government. 

Namely, among 209 countries and territories in the world in which infected with coronavirus were detected, Poland ranks 66th in the number of tests performed per 1 million population.

Moreover, it should be noted that, considering the countries and territories belonging to Europe (52), Poland with the result of 2.258 tests / 1 million population, is in this specific 'ranking' on 43th place.

Less tests in Europe were performed only in: Romania (2.131/1 million), Bosnia and Herzegovina (1.809/1 million), Serbia (979/1 million), Albania (893/1 million) and in Ukraine (134/1 million) . Moldova, Andorra, Monaco and City of Vatican do not provide data on the number of tests performed - if they provided, we would probably 'fall' three more positions lower, that is, to 46th position in the '52 cyclists peloton'.

Apparently to the Minister the terms 'head' and 'tail' have got mixed up in meanings, although they differ so much from each other ... :-(

Someone will probably accuse me: "But the Minister referred to the number of tests carried out in relation TO THE NUMBER OF INFECTED, not the number of inhabitants !!!".

 Well, that's true. . . but I'll have a short answer to such accusation - it's called DATA MANIPULATION.

I will limit myself to saying that in my opinion Poles deserve better. MUCH better.

Pomimo, ?e nie powa?am obecnego rz?du, to jednak mam szacunek, a nawet doceniam prac? Ministra Zdrowia. U?ywaj?c karcianego j?zyka, w obecnym rz?dowym rozdaniu otrzyma? bardzo s?abe karty, a mimo to robi co mo?e - temu nie mo?e wg mnie nikt zaprzeczy?.

Nie chc? równie? szczególnie rozwodzi? si? nad bardzo niezr?cznym, moim zdaniem, porównaniem pandemii kornonawirusa do wy?cigu kolarskiego.

Ja jednak chcia?bym zna? PRAWD?.

Mniej testów w Europie wykonano proporcjonalnie jedynie w Rumunii (2131 / 1 mln), Bo?ni i Hercegowinie (1809 / 1 mln), Serbii (979 / 1 mln), Albanii (893 / 1 mln) oraz w Ukrainie (134 / 1 mln). Mo?dawia, Andora, Monako oraz Watykan nie podaj? danych co do ilo?ci wykonywanych testów – gdyby podawa?y, to najpewniej "spadliby?my" jeszcze o 3 pozycje ni?ej, czyli na 46 pozycj? w "peletonie 52 kolarzy".

Najwyra?niej Panu Ministrowi poj?cia "czo?ówka" i "ogon" pomyli?y si? znaczeniami , chocia? przecie? tak bardzo si? od siebie ró?ni? ... :-(

Có?, to prawda... jednak na takie oskar?enie b?d? mia? krótk? odpowied? - to si? nazywa MANIPULACJA DANYMI.
