• Absence of Penalties – No fines for public littering, leading to trash piling up outside empty waste bins.
• Lack of Basic Facilities for Women – No accessible toilets near the Ghats, forcing women to endure discomfort or risk health issues.

We are 50 years away from becoming a responsible clean country. Despite initiatives like Swachh Bharat, the reality is that government agencies alone cannot manage sanitation at this scale. Voluntary participation from housekeeping experts and organizations like SOHO is essential to implementing structured hygiene solutions for mass gatherings.
