Gov. Greg Abbott: Antisemitism will not be tolerated in Texas

“These protesters belong in jail,” said Texas Gov. Greg Abbott “Students joining in hate-filled, antisemitic protests at any public college or university in Texas should be expelled.” Jewish News Syndicate

My Commentary

First of all - all due respect to the Governor for making this clear decision to protect the Jews, and leaving no room for interpretation. And not only because this has to do with the Jews, but because it has to do with the whole culture of connection between people. So this has nothing to do with whether you agree or disagree with his policies - protecting people who are being bullied is always the right thing to do.

Gov. Greg Abbott has been serving as the 48th governor of Texas since 2015. For those of you who are not aware of this great leader, he's been doing it all from a wheelchair. And that speaks volumes. He is supported by his wife, the First Lady of Texas Cecilia Abbott who he actually met while attending 美国德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校 .

The complexity of the problem can be divided into two -

1 - Like giving First Aid, there are certain things that need to be taken care of immediately, correctly, impartially and as quickly as possible. The goal is to keep the hate-filled student protesters away. So, in terms of the law, do everything possible.

2 - The significant part of this is the long-term treatment of the problem. What do we do about the human problem we have? Where is the legitimacy of this type of relationship between humans? I won't provide more examples of how badly we treat each other, because it's an antithesis to man and humanity. To the true concept of what being human is all about - all the natural and simple things that we all imagine enjoying in life.

But in the current situation, everything is allowed, and in the most twisted manner imaginable -

>> Terrorism is allowed

>> Wars are allowed

>> Everything is allowed in the economy

Things are set up in a way that won't lead us to anything good. On this path it's very clear where we're headed.

And it's here, in this part of the problem, we still haven't begun taking care of ourselves. We still haven't instilled how important good relationships between humans are for having a good life. This vital connection is still not understood.

At the moment we're in a situation where every individual only feels what's good for themselves, and not those around us. Even though we are connected socially, professionally, and geographically - we still do everything according to our own best interests.

In order to get to a more advanced way of developing, we need to transition to understanding the nature of relationships between people. After all these are mutually beneficial relationships that help us reach our purpose in life - the key element for achieving genuine fulfillment

The main problem we have right now is that we don't understand what we're heading into. And I say that without contradicting what the Governor did - I'm happy to see leaders going against these negative elements. But it was First Aid.

Now we need to get to the long term treatment. By discovering the cause of the illness, you can then provide a suitable solution to fixing it.

It's going to take a very brave leader to roll up their sleeves and get to the bottom of why they hate us Jews so much.

Abbott is no better than DeSantis. Both want to ban books, rewrite history, control your healthcare, and restrict voting rights. The fact that he supports Israel, other rather demonstrations on Florida college campuses, doesn’t wipe the slate clean of all the other crap he stands for.
