Gourmetaly today announced it has been recognized as a Viator Experience Award winner for Small-Group Rome Food Walking Tour: Trastevere, Campo de' Fiori, Jewish Ghetto in Top 20 for Southern Italy.
Despite a challenging few years for the travel industry, Gourmetaly stood out to travelers and provided an exceptional experience.
Ten years ago, in 2013, Gourmetaly started the adventure. Tailoring our food events for web customers according to Viator’s selling model: guaranteed departures, freesale mode with short release, flexibility. Our cooperation through the years has been amazing. Thanks to the growing and massive exposure of the platform, we have hosted thousands of happy foodies from around the world. Hosting them with passion and care, but also learning from them about different lifestyles and traditions. The TripAdvisor review system has been revolutionary in the travel market. Focusing the attention on the client’s perception gives them a voice. At Gourmetaly, we took advantage of clients’ comments, both the good ones and the bad ones (sometimes). Indeed, every comment has been an opportunity for growth and improvement. We are happy to receive this amazing award, which makes us proud of our efforts to provide our best, authentic, and friendly food experiences. But this achievement has been obtained through teamwork. From the marketing of Viator/Tripadvisor that led the clients to the booking process, to the booking department staff that worked a lot in the good times and likewise in the shocking pandemic time, from the foodie guides, who provided an unforgettable experience, to the quality of foods and service of our providers, restaurants, bars, and shops that hosted us every day in the last few years. The Viator Award is, for us, an encouragement to carry on keeping the level of service higher and higher.
