Got Life ? Remember, none of your insurance policies will matter as much (when you are gone) as your Life policy.

Every time I talk to a homeowner about Home insurance, I have an opportunity to add value, to make the customer smarter about insurance. Sure, we have a great Home product at Farmers Insurance. We have many coverages and options that help you compete on value, not just on price. But what is really going to matter when you are gone (dead).

I'm always concerned if my prospects have thought about the losses that even the best homeowners insurance doesn't cover ?  Losses like floods, or the loss of the income that pays the family mortgage and all other bills after a family loss ?

Asking about those unmet needs does more than open the door to more cross-sale and density. It shows the value of dealing with an agent who cares about really protecting the customer, not just making the sale. 

Remember, every Home conversation can also be a conversation about Life. That's just the smart thing to do, both as an agent and a customer.
