GORDIE PAUL, LIAM MAGUIRE TO TAKE PART IN ANNUAL DICKINSON DAY PARADE IN MANOTICK!
For a good chunk of the 1980's in and around the village of Manotick there were several undeniable truths; Happy hour at the Legion started every weekend; the stag season ruled our social lives; The Ranch was thee greatest party house in Manotick history and if there was anything of consequence going on odds are Gordie Paul and Liam Maguire would make an appearance.
What better time to reunite this dynamic duo than the annual Dickinson Day parade scheduled for a 7pm start this Friday June 1st rolling down it's usual course, main street Manotick..
What will be in you ask? Courtesy of Wallace Service Center, my dear friend and owner Todd Wallace and his father Ivan Wallace, they are graciously loaning the use of their 1963 red convertible T-Bird baby! As many of you know Todd runs one of the best garages in the entire region of Ottawa-Carleton. Among his many employees is Moe Robinson, brother of Larry. Todd's generosity and support of numerous charities in and around our communities is legendary. I'm very proud to ride in this phenomenal vehicle on their behalf, support Manotick's annual party and do so with one of my closest friends, a Manotick icon from the 1980's. We'll see ya there! Gidday!
