Our Global Head of SEO, Jimmy Kelley , who was the original architect of Domain Authority Stacking - essentially what is commonly referred to as “backlinks” - has not used backlinks as part of his SEO strategies for more than seven years. That’s old school SEO which Google themselves have recently confirmed by saying backlinks are not a top ranking factor. Locafy’s ongoing research confirms that this is the case.
