Last week, Google updated its “Search Quality Evaluator Guidelines” to detect unreliable websites and published a document of 170 pages in total. The updated guidelines include examples of the new features of untrustworthy pages to help quality assessors conduct informed reviews. In the document where important updates about EEAT are made, a subject that attracts all of our attention more than anything else is mentioned: Artificial intelligence supported content!
??Trustworthiness Exam: What Do Google’s Quality Assessors Examine?
The addition to the Lowest Quality Page Samples includes an example of a page that meets these criteria and is considered unreliable.
On the sample site, it was stated that content was written to be informative for parents about the transition from breast milk to fatty milk. Google states that there is an article at the bottom of this page stating that the site owner aims to inform parents and tries to provide the necessary awareness for parents and children. So far, no problem, but Google says that when you read the terms of service page, we will find a very different definition from the descriptions on the website. Google, which included all these explanations in its new update, added this page as a precedent for Low Quality Page Examples. You can find all the details about the sample site's examination from Google's Quality Rater Guidelines, on page 43.
??SEO in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Changing Trends and Strategies
Could all these changes mean that artificial intelligence does not meet the EEAT criteria set by Google? The answer is both yes and no. In fact, adding an extra E to the EAT system for “experience” signaled that artificial intelligence would be lacking in producing valuable content.
So, the biggest mistake you can make is to produce content based entirely on artificial intelligence. This will result in the ingredients being classified as “Least EEAT”. So, does this mean we should completely eliminate AI from our lives? No, we also have an option to make AI-supported content high quality: Uploading as much information as possible to AI.
Keeping your finger on the pulse of the audience to whom the content will appeal before producing can help you at this point. Taking notes of what the audience wants to know about that topic and presenting them to artificial intelligence as a document will allow you to get more accurate results. This way, you will have trained the AI, and then all you have to do is edit and enrich the content!
