I know I said Google was super active last month, but this month reached a whole new level.
The past month was more than a bit insane; I don’t think we’ve ever had so many confirmed Google updates released in a 30-day period before.?
Here’s what happened in the last 30-days:
This was certainly one heck of a month for Google Search algorithm updates!
These Google updates impact all websites and many sites have been experiencing lots of volatility with many seeing big decreases in ranking and visibility - is yours?
What can you do about it?
Google updates focus on quality and seek to reward websites that provide the best content for their visitors.

My recommendation: Make quality your priority
Google’s mission is to organise the world’s information and provide the best answers possible, so it stands to reason that writing quality content for your audience should be a priority.?
Writing quality content means writing original content that shows your expertise. If you approach your SEO with a genuine intention to serve your audience then you should see positive results on an ongoing basis.
A quick win: How does your content measure up?
Ask yourself if you're offering the best content you can.

(I shared this content checklist last month, but if you haven’t had time to check it out yet, I recommend that you do now)
SEO practices keep changing as Google gets smarter at eliminating loopholes and ensuring quality websites rise to the top. Success all starts with your content. Writing for users first and then Google will ensure your website is filled with the relevant information that will appeal to your target customer.
