Can anyone recommend a good Faraday cage?

Last year part of a family vacation included a trip to Istanbul. This was my first trip overseas since being forced to abandon my Blackberry OS device for an Android. Yes, they pried it from my hands, and this is a major reason why I resisted so hard.

The image above is a visualization of Google tracking my movements in Istanbul.

Put another way, anyone with access to the Gmail account used for the phone can access this information and much more.

There's a wonderfully detailed article from the Norwegian consumer agency about this called "Every Step You Take."
