Is Google taking another stab at Yelp? - Removes Review Stars from Search results

Following the removal of Ads displayed on the the sides of Search results, Google seem to eye on Review Stars this time. This definitely appears to be another stab at Yelp and it's infamous fake reviews. 

A quick check on the Mozcast reveals a drop in Review snippets since the 18th of this month. We can also see the Adwords (Side ads) have now gone down to Zero indicating a 100% removal of Side ads.

However, there's no change in the display of Google places reviews. So it's only the Snippet based reviews are getting removed from the SERPS. No more fake Review snippet Arbitrage. Now SEOs can exercise their brains on improving the Meta data like good old days!
