INDEXING
In the section, which includes pages, video pages, sitemaps and removals, you may have either an overview of how your page is being indexed, or a thorough per URL reports, indicating issues, alongside suggestions.
In the beginning of the report, there is box segregated into two sections; Indexed and Not Indexed.
These values indicate the number of time the URLs have been or have not been successfully indexed. The "not indexed" number, in some cases might be intentional, because you may have decided to exclude them by "noindex" tags.
Meanwhile, many still have issues. For instance, consider the canonical page.
The term "canonical page" typically refers to the preferred version of a webpage, particularly in the context of search engine optimization (SEO).
In SEO, it's important to have a one or unique, authoritative version of a webpage that engines should index or rank. This helps to avoid duplicate content issues and ensures that search engines understand which version of the page to prioritize in their search results.
To establish a canonical page, website owners often use the "rel=canonical" link element in the HTML code of their webpages.
Among the non-indexed pages, in a specific table the "source" has been identified.
Thus, if source refers website, the it is an issue that you need look for solutions to resolve.
Similar to the below one, the last issue states that for certain page, the canonical page was not defined, and google chose different one than users.
