Google recommendations now fully live in search console

We are excited to announce Search Console recommendations, a new feature that provides websites with optimization opportunities and suggests actions they can take to improve their presence on Google Search.

Recommendations are based on a variety of Google Search systems data, like indexing, crawling, and serving.

The data was already available to you on Search Console, but now we're helping to make it more accessible by providing direct recommendations. They can help you prioritize your search optimization efforts, such as using structured data to help Google understand your content, adding sitemaps, and checking out trending queries and pages.

The recommendations are computed on a regular basis and may expire or change details over time.

The recommendations will appear on the Search Console overview page. This is still an experimental feature, and not all sites will have recommendations at this stage, we'll be rolling out this feature slowly over the coming months.

Note that even after the complete rollout, we'll only provide recommendations when we have a recommendation available for your website.

"Google"

Why we care

These recommendations may provide insights into improving your sites or client site’s indexing, scrawling, and serving in Google Search.

Some may be obvious to experienced SEOs, some may prove to not be too helpful, while others may be super helpful.

Of course, do not just blindly adopt these recommendations.

You know your site best, and if you run a news publishing site and Google recommends you show products on your site, well, it might not be the best recommendation.
