Not long since Google has launched Google play protect for vetting android devices from malicious apps in Google play store. But according to recent reports Trend Micro has detected a malware and reported it to Google, which in turn has told researchers that Play protect is backing up the users.

For those android users, who still didn’t observed what play protect is; let me pass on some of the facts. Play protect is a Google tool which automatically scans your device to keep improving mobile security. It also check apps on play store before reaching out to you. When you download any app it runs safety scanning periodically and if any harmful app is detected it will warn you with a notification of uninstall or sometimes it will remove the app itself and you will get a notification. If you download apps from sources other than play store, you can always use the option of send unknown apps to Google for better security round-up. You can anytime turn it on and off, its very simple.
