Google My Business for Service Growing In Importance and Visibility
At the 2020 DMSC Virtual Livestream Conference we will have three workshops and one panel discussion on the power of Google My Business (GMB) for sales, service, and parts. While most dealers have had a GMB listing for sales for years, service and parts listings are rather new.
When properly configured and merchandised, GMB service listings can appear thousands of times in Google search and on Google Maps. Here is a Toyota dealer in Texas that has followed the advice in my book "Hyper-Local Marketing for Automotive Retail" and their visibility in the last 30 days for their Service Listing:

Many of these search impressions are INCREMENTAL business because the listing is showing up for keywords that DO NOT include the OEM brand.
