It's true, "Bard" was a rather shabby name, anyway.
Google recently announced that it will launch its new generation AI chatbot, as well as it's also changing the name "Bard" to "Gemini" and that's also it's name for the AI model of language that runs the system.
The brand-new Gemini AI bot will facilitate more diverse use scenarios, making it simpler to generate images and text in various forms, built on Google's AI system. The AI model currently competes with other big models of language in terms processing power and performance.
In its latest "Gemini Advanced" offering, could be even it's better.
As per Google:
"In blind evaluations with our third-party raters, Gemini Advanced with Ultra 1.0 is now the most preferred chatbot compared to leading alternatives."
Google claims that its Gemini AI is a new version that Gemini AI is much improved to tackle complex tasks "like coding, logical reasoning, following nuanced instructions and collaborating on creative projects". Initial tests suggest that it's indeed an equivalent model to the most sophisticated AI models available and the tech journalist Ethan Mollick noting that it's "clearly a GPT-4 class model" in his first analysis.
With the coming generation of AI Google is also focusing on what the next phase of its search as well as how to continue to maintain its position as the leading web search engine in the age of chat queries. This is still a way from becoming a paradigm shift, but in the end, when people are more accustomed to asking questions instead of comprehending specific search queries it will be the way things are going to go and Google recognizes that.
In this regard, it's trying to develop more advanced platforms that will not only help with the use of such inquiries, but also keep its main business line which is Search ads. However, it's also trying to hedge its bets in the area by announcing Gemini Advanced set to be available as the paid subscription.

It is a method for Google to reduce the development costs associated with AI However, it could be a sign of a significant change in the process of discovery, that will impact every business.
SEO is now an essential aspect of the current market, and it is a way to match search terms and goals with precise keywords and phrases on your site. It's a complicated process which requires significant effort to master, but the next phase of internet discovery will be entirely different and may render various forms of the existing SEO method obsolete.
OpenAI has been pushing in this direction, thanks to its relationship with Microsoft that has led to growing numbers of users turning to ChatGPT to get answers, usually as a result of automated responses that draw information from the web, but do not include hyperlinks to referral sites.
This could be devastating for web-based businesses that rely on these referrals to boost website traffic, and consequently advertising exposure and revenue However, Google is working to control this aspect and to keep its business running and align with the next trend.
The answer is either way and while Google has been wary when it comes to its algorithmic AI release however, it is aware that it must be quick, to prevent ChatGPT being the first choice for those who look up information on the internet since "Google" itself had become a verb before it.
The brand-new Gemini software is the next option on this path It'll be interesting to see how the users react and whether it will be able to aid in helping Google remain the most popular web-based discovery tool.
Gemini is accessible at any time to Android devices, and Google is also releasing a new iOS application for the platform.
Google's Gemini Advanced AI system will be offered as part of it's "Google One AI Premium Plan" that will cost for $19.99 each month. Find more information about Gemini Advanced, and how to sign up here.
