Make no mistake, Google Home has massive potential; this is because Google is the leader in connecting the dots between data-points on users being the world's digital advertising and search leader. When you fail like Google Plus did, well that comes with certain perks.

Voice-first human interactions are quickly becoming the norm. Being able to recognize different family members, certainly brings something revelatory to the smart home.

The days of algorithms having to compete between personal feeds and content consumption news in the same feed are hopefully, numbered.

It’s like Facebook without all those annoying “friends.” 

Since Google combines the most important news stories of the day with ones about topics you’ve previously searched, this is quite an advancement in personalization of what News could become.

Google Hire is a great new tool to complement the G-Suite of tools already so useful for SMEs.

The service builds on G Suite and lets employers track candidates’ contact information, resume, calendar invites, and allow business partners to share feedback within the candidate’s profile. This is a huge time saver and could impact SAP and Oracle's products.

It's widely thought to be complementary to Microsoft LinkedIn's professional search.

In Conclusion

Google is bringing actionable AI into our lives that could become ubiquitous. From finding a job to managing job applicants, to digital's influence on physical space; Google is connecting very important dots.

Where Google fails in marketing, PR, product-marketing strategy and customer acquisition, the AI behind its progress is clear and what works, will just be the new normal.

Is this a sponsored article? I think it miss s a lot of moves by many companies who are focused on Narrow AI in a business setting ... IBM, with Watson, has been focused on Healthcare AI for years and they bought a company to get to lots of data. Microsoft is infusing AI into everything it is doing with things like one the fly PowerPoint translation, bots and more being the latest of along line of things and others are also tremendously active here. Google is a player having moved early to buy DeepMind but to cast them in their singular own light is disingenuous...

Sadly I share the same bleak vision from what I can see so far. Very few companies control millions, copy-paste ideas they find on their own services, and grow stronger while preaching the rest of the world a cheap life for sharing is enough for us. It's a very sophisticated slavery based on free-will participation of all those who think they gain something. But is there any way to educate the users to act differently?
