Google Hiring Software Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

• 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Write code for product or system development.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select the best technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers, providing feedback to ensure adherence to best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content, adapting it based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Troubleshoot product or system issues, debugging, tracking, and resolving them by analyzing their sources and impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
