Google Is Great However Listings Could Be Harming Genuine Indian Businesses And How To Fix This

Google's top people could be creating the best algorithms and systems, however, the much lower level people doing the other work at Google could be leading to harm and destruction of genuine Indian businesses.

Is this also why the big and other companies have been laying off their lowest performing employees who then complain wrongly because they weren't doing proper work?

When reporting a review to Google, there is no option to select that it is a fake review by a real customer which the customer can do for various reasons.

Without giving a clear reason that why a review is being reported, the Google support team might not clearly understand and decide whether to delete that review or not. This can waste precious little time of the many genuine Indian businesses as they will keep writing to Google about the issue. This can also make genuine Indian businesses lose some to many customers and even go into high losses and even get destroyed and shutdown if fake reviews can't be properly and timely handled by Google.

Someone booked a party venue, however, after having their party they don't want to pay the full amount as finalized before the party venue was given to them.

People from the party wrote fake negative reviews about the venue without even paying to the venue perhaps thinking the venue will ask them to delete their fake negative reviews by not asking them to pay the pending amount. The venue has taken the approach of replying to the review and reporting the review.

For now, the venue is selecting "Conflict of interest" as the reason while reporting the review because the customer doesn't want to pay after taking the service. However, the description of this reason is "Review is from someone affiliated with the business or a competitor’s business" which as per description is not the same as a genuine customer not wanting to pay the bill and then writing fake review.
