Google Extends Titles In Snippets From 55 characters to 83 characters
Based on RankRanger, Google has expanded the number of figures that they reveal for the name in the search results snippets by a mean of 55 characters to 83 characters. That's a 20 percent gain in the period of the typical number of figures in the name of their research results snippets.

That is a global change, affecting all areas of Google, not only the United States. However, it doesn't appear to affect the cellular consequences - it only affects the background benefits.
Last December, Google revealed more characters to the descriptions at the snippets and soon after decreased the count needing to shield itself for this choice. So I do find it odd that Google would significantly alter how much they reveal from the snippets after all this argument - but it appears they've.
