What Does Google's Removal of Authorship Photos Mean for You?
The award recognizes those who have established themselves as trusted and respected writers in the fields of online content development, publication, and social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other important American websites. This does not imply that Google authorship is dead. With their Google+ profiles, authors can continue to develop linkages between Google+ and their content. To view how your posts rank, go to the Author Stats page in Google Webmaster Tools.
What is the Authorship's Future?
Matt Cutts, Google's head of Search Spam, said at this month's SMX Advance Conference in Seattle that Google supports the concept of authorship. So, despite the fact that the head shot no longer appears in search results, authorship still has its own set of benefits. When Google includes more "Author Rank" elements into its search algorithm, it may be beneficial to you. It may pay off in the long run if you establish yourself as an authoritative writer now.
Why Should You Use Google+ Anymore?
If you're thinking about ditching Google+, reconsider. You can still use authorship markup in your material and publish it on Google+. Creating a Google+ profile is an excellent public relations technique. Furthermore, +1s have an impact on ranks. Despite Google's efforts to limit our reasons for using Google+, there are still some compelling reasons to continue utilising Google's social media platform.
