?Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, has disclosed the company’s intention to integrate AI (artificial intelligence) technologies into its search engine. The CEO stated that users will “very soon” be able to “interact directly” with its “newest, most powerful model as a companion to search in experimental and imaginative ways” during the Q4 results call on Wednesday. For “factual” and conversational results, Google Search will use LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications), Google’s proprietary language model. The executive declared that Google will also give partners and developers new tools and APIs so they could create their “own applications and explore new possibilities on AI.”
