News has broken today that Google Chrome could soon be warning potential website visitors that the website they're about to visit, is slow loading!

Pretty big step in the quest for a better browsing experience for visitors....don't you think?

So basically, Google are said to be working on a badging system that will pre-warn Chrome users that a particular website is quick or otherwise. There could also be text & other different, more subtle notices to indicate a good or poor page load speed.

With Google Chrome catering for around 64% of people who go online, this is a visible notification which attaches to the detrimental effect on organic rankings - which is already presenting itself for websites with poor page load speeds.

Something worth seriously considering when designing or redesigning a website!
