Google Chrome and Shortcut

Chrome has a wonderful feature: you can create a shortcut of a page(on your desktop). This feature permits (permitted) to access to that page as an application, in a stand alone window.

For a few days, Google Chrome has removed the "standalone window" option and it seems we can no longer to do it. But I found a solution:

1. Create the shortcut as you ever do it (Chrome > Option > More tools > Create shortcut...) https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/3060053
2. Go to chrome://apps/, find your shortcut (application), right click on it and select "open as a window"
