Google Ads and the DOJ's Antitrust Lawsuit

Have you seen Google Ads in the news recently?

The United States government is coming after Google and the little machine that could, Google Ads.

Aside from raising interest rates and absolutely hurting the little guy, don’t they have anything better to do? I know we’re still waiting for some infrastructure money to help save our dilapidated bridges in Pittsburgh!

TLDR; "Competition in the ad tech space is broken," the lawsuit says. "Google has corrupted legitimate competition in the ad tech industry by engaging in a systematic campaign to seize control of the wide swath of high-tech tools used by publishers, advertisers, and brokers, to facilitate digital advertising. Having inserted itself into all aspects of the digital advertising marketplace, Google has used anticompetitive, exclusionary, and unlawful means to eliminate or severely diminish any threat to its dominance over digital advertising technologies."

I say we bring the fight! Let’s keep using Google Ads to bring highly qualified traffic to our websites!

2. Deliver piping hot traffic ready to convert after they’ve searched online for reviews, looked at a business’ Google My Business pictures and updates, visited similar websites, and watched relevant YouTube videos.
3. HBT Digital brought 78 mobile phone calls to Chapman Heating and Cooling for plumbing and heating search campaigns in Jan. 2023.
4. Create custom audiences and reach people that are looking for your competitor’s products/services.
5. Remarket to those that have bought from you before, hit certain web pages on your site, or showcase deals to those that have abandoned checkouts.
