Google Ads Display Certification

Greetings!

I would like to share my learnings on Google Ads Display campaigns in this article.

While learning about Google Ads Display, I came across many critical terms that you need to have in your brain for any discussion about Google display ads. These critical terms are: -

Google Display Network (GDN)

Google's network of websites and apps is known as the GDN. With millions of websites and applications, Google has agreements under which the website or application earns money in exchange for letting Google advertise there. Your display adverts are displayed to internet users through the GDN.

Retargeting

This is the technique of using cookie tracking to show your advertising to visitors who have previously visited your website and are now seeing the ads from your display campaign.

Audiences

Your audiences are built by you so that Google knows which users to offer your advertisements to. There are a few types of audiences:

In-market

Easy to understand. When a person went against their usual online activity, they told Google, "I'm in the market for something."

Affinity

These target markets are people who are already interested in your good or service, such as "landscape design" or "video production."

Customary Goal

Advertisement managers are in charge of defining these audiences. They typically tell Google to "show an ad to everyone who has gone to one of these pages" after providing it with a list of specified web pages.

Bid modifications

By using bid modifications, you can automatically modify your bids if/when specific circumstances are satisfied. Some marketers choose to increase their bids regarding mobile devices or specific target segments they have created.

Placements

Placements are areas where your advertisements may run on Google Display Network or YouTube. A placement might be an individual ad unit, a mobile app, a video, a website, or a specific page on a website.

Learning from this certification has made me capable of: -

  1. Translating any vision for online marketing into a comprehensive digital marketing plan
  2. Integrating a Google Display strategy with the larger marketing goals of the business
  3. Putting together a strategy to use Google Display to raise awareness, consideration, action, and retention
  4. Creating a strategy to use Google Display Audiences to reach both present and potential customers
  5. Ensuring that the digital marketing budget and the display marketing plan are compatible.
