Goodbye Oracle
After 14+ years wearing the red shirt it is time to close an important chapter of my professional life and see what the future holds.?
It has been a rewarding journey and I owe Oracle a lot, I had amazing experiences, I met new friends that will last forever, super professional colleagues from whom I’ve learnt on so many occasions, I had the chance to travel the world from New Zealand to Central America and everything in between, I had the chance to live on two different continents and to support a global business giving me exposure to multiple cultures, languages and people.?
Many pictures are still hidden somewhere in the various repositories collected during these years, these attached are just a few and while I was putting them together I was going through those moments again and smiled as we did on those occasions.?
The success and satisfaction I had is mainly thanks to the teams that surrounded me, that I was part of or that I was leading with pride.
? Michel Van Woudenberg you have been a a great companion in this journey, a real manager that always went the extra mile to protect his team and to help them growing; a true inspirational example that taught me a lot in all these years.?
In my six years in the sales consulting mgmt role I was so fortunate to work with great people and professional experts that made my job a pleasure. We were the cloud guys, looked at in a weird way back in 2009 for those “small” deals compared to the traditional onprem ones, we knew we were onto something big and that we were shaping the future. We were defining the new normal with cloud based CRM and then later on with all possible variations of it through the Oracle CX acquisitions. With Atul Tuli , Yong Sheng (YS) Lee and Will Griffith I felt we were the four musketeers :) driving sales, service and marketing cloud in APAC under the leadership of ? Michel Van Woudenberg

In the Marketing cloud organisation it was real fun, Abe Smith and Will Griffith great leaders with rare drive, passion and stamina. They built an incredible united team with unparalleled culture.
When I joined the dev organisation under the leadership of Rajan Krishnan I was incredibly proud and grateful to be able to be there at the core of the business, as close as possible to where the heart was beating. I joyfully remember a few customer meetings that I had the privilege to attend in Europe with Mr Thomas Kurian . Seeing him in action, delivering his message with passion and immense charisma is something that will stay with me forever.
Thanks to Oracle I also met new Italian friends in North Ryde, like Luca Mengoli who I will always be grateful to for introducing me to Anja who I consider the best person in the world and that I am very fortunate to call the love of my life xxx
There are so many stories lived with the people I’ve met during this journey that I would love to celebrate, if you are here reading this and remembering a bit of that journey together smile and maybe send a message, it will fill my heart :-)
Well for now good bye, arrivederci, au revoir, até?à?próxima, hasta la vista. It’s been a pleasure.
