A goodbye and a new horizon
Dr Bart Jaworski
I will teach you how to become a Product Manager | ex-Microsoft, Senior Product Manager at Stepstone
After nine years of adventures, challenges and tons of personal growth, I have decided it's time to leave my comfort zone and see how will I manage in a different company. The search was long, full of disappointing moments, hesitation and doubt, but at the end, I did find a new home at Stepstone in their Warsaw office.
It was really hard to leave idibu as I have worked there for such a long time. I have witnessed its growth from a struggling start-up to a full grown company with offices and clients around the world. I like to think I had something to do with it :) While not everything worked out, we did loose clients and not all projects delivered on their promises, I do believe me and my colleagues did an excellent job over the years! So many great success stories and thriller-like recoveries I could talk about for hours.
Special thanks to Steve Walker and Martin Bramall - for guidance, support and putting up with my bad jokes and the absurd idea of becoming a PhD. I think idibu is one of the few companies in the world that gives their employees so much space to develop their own passions and dreams. You guys created an environment that was really hard to let go, but as the final episode's title of "Star Trek: The next generation" states - "All good things... (must come to an end)".
Over the years I have also met some great people that made it easier to deal with any issues or road blocks. One wanted to achieve success not only due to one's responsibilities but also to help out the friendly clients and partners on the other end. I'd like to mention a few names: Julia Gowen @Wallace Hind, Kevin McGrath @NES, Lachlan Stott @Jobscience, Simon Crowe @Daxtra, Luke Hall @Positive Internet, Sanjeev Sondh @Esos and many other great people. It was a pleasure working with you! And hope we will cross paths in the future again :)
If you have some good memories or success stories from working with me, I'd be very grateful for a Linkedin review. I'm sure your statement will help me one way or the other in my future career growth. Thank you in advance!
Now, to face my new position, new city and new environment! Wish me luck:)
Kind regards
Bart
