Goodbye Folloze

Exactly one year ago, I was celebrating 6 years at Folloze. I didn't expect back then that 2020 would unfold the way it did - but who did...

After 7 wonderful years at Folloze, this will be my last few days as a Folloze employee. 

I'm very proud of everything we achieved during this period and very comfortable to open my next chapter while leaving Folloze at its best position ever - the opportunity and potential are enormous.

I want to thank everyone who took part in this journey, both in IL and in the US. You made these past 7 years fly by and filled them with unforgettable memories. I want to thank Etai Beck for having the capacity to contain me for that long ??. But above all, I want to thank David Brutman and Itamar Golan. David, thank you for being a great manager and a fantastic person. You made me grow as a professional and, most importantly, as a human being. Itamar, thank you for being my right hand. I know you will be an excellent VP R&D. Without your guys' belief in me, nothing would have been possible ??.

So what's next for me? I"ll be joining the backend guild leadership at Wix! I'm super excited to join the 'developer productivity' ride and be part of a top-notch engineering culture. I want to take a moment and acknowledge Aviran Mordo for the openness and the willingness to explore opportunities together with me. Staying humble and supportive after achieving great success is a real indicator of great leadership. I'm glad to join an organization led this way. And of course, I want to thank Yuval Perry, my new manager! Your personal touch throughout the hiring process was crucial in my decision. As the saying goes: you are not choosing a company; you are choosing a manager.

Finally, I want to thank Nir Nahum for helping me throughout my journey for the last couple of years - Nir, you rock!

I'll forever feel part of the Folloze Family! I know Patrick already misses you all..
