Goodbye, Facebook!

It's official, I can't contact any human, and I've had it. Lately I've had so much difficulty with Facebook that I'm deleting my account.

IF YOU ARE ONE OF MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS: I intend to start a brand new FB account in a couple months, to see if that fixes the errors and problems.

(After deleting, I must stay away from FB for one month or FB will re-start this account. I can't make a simultaneous account, since it keeps associating any new account I have tried to make with this old one... with the same posting issues.)

So what's the problem with Facebook? Damned if I know!

FB has:

• Disallowed any advertising I have tried to buy. It seems to somehow think that "hypnosis" = "scam" (I think? It only cites a violation of "community standards" for every ad, but doesn't say which one is being violated.)
• Regularly stopped me from posting into ANY group on Facebook; even those I am running! (It says "temporarily blocked" yet I have been sent no notice of any violation.)
• Occasionally stopped me from posting into pages and groups I am running! (It also says "temporarily blocked" yet again, I have been sent no notice of any violation.)
• Stopped me from posting to MY OWN Facebook "wall" when the subject has anything directly to do with hypnosis. (No notice; it simply doesn't post when I click the button, and it disappears.)

Since I am a professional hypnotist, and I often wish to discuss, share information about, and sell, my services and products, this is ludicrous. The situation has now continued for six full months, during which it has proven impossible to get a response from any human at Facebook.

If the problem continues after I try to restart a Facebook account in a couple months, I won't even bother to finish setting up that new account after testing it.

If it DOES work to allow my posting again, I will still expect my future FB account to remain much smaller and less important for my work. I don't believe in rewarding people for incompetence.
