Goodbye 2021 and hello 2022.
Sandra Pringle
I help organisations move away from conventional, outdated thinking to embrace real ethical and sustainable business practices that create people-centric cultures and leverage competitive advantage in the marketplace.
My final post for 2021 and some 'food for thought'.
I wanted to take this opportunity to wish my LI network a wonderful, relaxing, festive season with family and friends. This is a time to recharge our mind, body, and soul – which most of us badly need – me included.
I am looking forward to 2022, as it is a great chance to reset and rebuild our lives and businesses from a well-being and financial perspective.? None of us can change the last two years – but we sure can change/manifest a better future.
Some 2021 highlights for me are:
NOW – SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
Since Covid first hit, we have used many words such as compassion, empathy, kindness, and let's not forget – 'team of five million' – to name a few. But sadly, for most people, these words rarely extend beyond our 'line of slight' or 'personal situation'.?

A shadow has cast over many of our lives and social media where people sit behind their keyboards and vent, and I get this. However, it is not doing any of us any good. So, let's bring some positive light into LI and FB in the new year. Let's celebrate more positive, innovative stories and amazing people we connect with. Let's 'voice-a-vision' to create a better future for us all.
This year, I have seen the very best and the very worst in people – both personally and professionally. I would like to encourage people to put more positive action behind these words – as we are all in this together, whether we like it or not. When life starts to look more positive and upbeat, this is great for our overall well-being, clarity, relationships, innovation, and productivity.?
You know one of my biggest concerns is for our young adult children who are expressing concerns about their future well-being and finances because of the mistakes by us adults for years – even decades.? In my view, they shouldn't have to worry about this stuff. They need to have fun and achieve their goals and aspirations in life and us adults should lead by example in this space.
Therefore, my wish for everyone in 2022 is simply this ....?
How about we focus on creating more balance in our personal and professional lives, economy (cost of living vrs out goings) as we all know how F&$k@% UP things are and start to think about creating a legacy for our kids and future generations to come.?Let’s get off the fence and enjoy our potential that life offers us and take it by the tail and have the ride of our lives.
Finally in 2022, I look forward to more catch ups and one-on-one conversations with more of my network because at the end of the day, all business relationships are built on this, and trust.
Merry Christmas to you all.
