Good thoughts in your mind makes your day

Good thoughts in your mind makes your day

Before I go to sleep every night I go through the following check list of things. What are you doing with your life right now? It’s simple, but it sums up a lot of other questions that I ponder. ? Are you working towards your ideal life? ? Are you making good choices? ? What are the opportunity costs of your actions/course of actions? ? Why are you doing what you do? ? Are you actions in line with your personal beliefs, philosophy, and integrity? ? How can you challenge the status quo and improve? ? What actions contribute to the habits you form? With these thoughts I go to sleep and these thoughts linger on my subconscious all night.

Our mind travels in these places. Past present and in future. If you think to much about past there are chances of going to depression as think all good thing which you loss. Or you still regret something you done. If you think in future you get attacks by anxiety which is not so good. You start making worst scene which would not happen. Best is to think in present because that's it the only truth now. Future and past no make sense any more. More you make your mind stable in present. More you get relaxation. What kind of world will I leave to my kids? Can I be honest about my efforts? How can it be that we are able to evolve to such cognitive brings, yet understand (as a whole) so little, with all the tools we have?

These are a sample of the thoughts of every single day. Then there are the ones about books and such. My work, my teaching, my wife and kids in general. And what not. Gratefulness — to be able to touch my toes with no aches or pains. For a loving partner that makes me feel happy and secure. For a comfy home with no debt and a wee bit in the bank for the unexpected. For my wonderful family who are spread out across continents, but we still manage to keep in touch by facetime and the occasional holiday. For the freedom to sit in my pretty garden, walk to the neighbouring grocery store and talk about anything I fancy including religion, politics or the rights of minorities. For the right to vote, to protest or to contact my neighbour if I don't think he/she is doing a good job

Thoughts like, “how, when, where, what will I be remembered for, will I meet the love of my life before I die, will I be missed by anyone, what will I achieve, is there really life after death, if hell exists, will I end up there?” Questions and more questions always come up in my mind whenever I hear the word death. These might not be valid questions but to me, they're important as to how I live my life every day. People die every passing day and one day it's definitely going to be me and these kind of questions help to keep me in check. I think happy thoughts too, and I try to be happy. Because every time I think about death (which is most times), I remind myself that life's too short to be anything except what I want to be.

I'm going to eat healthy, yes but there's still a box of mini choc chip cupcakes on my desk. Get the hell up, yes, no, yes, no, just do it! Does three mugs of beers and nacho cheese dip actually count as a meal? Who cares? You need to buy more notebooks, really like hell I do! Am I going to get into crap outside today? Not anxiety but just plain tiredness of it. Let's not get up. Er yes, you have to you frigging moron. All of this? This is a slither of the day. Madness. We may not be financially rich but we are very content. I like Bill Gate's Quote: "When you have Money in your Hand Only you Forget Who you are, But When you Don't have any Money in your Hand the whole World forget Who are you". Cheers!
