Good things come in Three’s ??
Large Print Works was established way back in 1988 as Trichrome, a photographic lab in The Ouseburn area. Over the years we have transitioned from conventional printing methods to using truly state-of-the-art digital techniques, allowing us to specialise in Large Format Printing. Many of you may remember us as The Rip, in 2016 we changed our trading name to Large Print Works to reflect our trade and main focus.
Our team provide a complete service from state-of-the-art print and production technologies, expert finishing, and a credited installation service. We take pride in all the machinery we have which allows us to a provide a great service.
The Colorado 1650?
The Colorado 1650 is an extremely important machine at LPW. It prints 90% of all our roll materials such as PVC Banner, Vinyl’s, Roller Banners, and Textured Wallpaper, due to its TWO roll fed capacity it allows us to provide quick turnarounds and handle busy production times without delaying any orders. We can print a maximum width of 1600mm, so all the roll materials we offer are available in various widths. The Colorado uses the latest UV gel ink technology which is durable and environmentally friendly, and it can print both a Matt and Gloss finish from the same ink, clever right?
Arizona 6170 XTS, Flatbed
领英推荐
Our pride and joy. We got our very first UV flatbed printer in 2008 and then in 2012 we upgraded to a larger machine and more recently in 2019 we installed the Arizona 6170 XTS. The Arizona can print 155m sq per hour, which makes it ideal for large and last-minute orders, allowing us to print and supply them back to you quickly. Most of you may know that this machine allows us to print with white ink so we can supply you with many clear materials like, Acrylic and Clear Vinyl. Not only does it print CMYK it also has Light Magenta and Light Cyan for total colour accuracy. The print position is always precise because of the 10 registration pins.
Zund
The Zund is the final machine all the prints go through before the finishing and packing process begins. It can cut, crease, kiss cut and router enabling us to cut everything from posters to Hoarding panels. We’re known for our speedy turnarounds and it’s no wonder as the Zund can cut 1000mm per second at full speed. The camera system registers the cut path and then works its magic at 0.003mm accuracy.
Along with the trio mentioned above we also have a laminator, mounter, XL vinyl cutter and a HP Z6200 for printing Photo Quality Inkjet Prints and Fine Art Prints.
At Large Print Works we are always looking to develop our techniques and expand our skills so that we can provide the best service to you.?
